Located in the South Hams in Devon in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our brief for this project was to restore this Devon longhouse and associated barns to create a refined and playful family home that makes the most of its sea and countryside views and celebrate in its outstanding landscape setting.

Our proposals included the remodelling of the main house, barn and granary and link sun room. New elements included enlarged kitchen/dining room, enlarged lounge, games room, music room, boot room, bay windows, windows and french doors. Internally new flooring, panelling, encaustic tiling, sanitary ware and lighting have completely transformed the house to create a truly unique family home.

Externally, the landscaped gardens incorporate a kitchen garden, stream and ponds, treehouses and orchards, terraces and hot tub.
