We have completed the replacement of an existing dilapidated farmhouse and farm buildings with a new zero carbon farmhouse, located near the Camel estuary near Padstow in Cornwall.

The project has been driven by a desire to create an outstanding low impact home and landscape design that sensitively responds to the sites' outstanding setting and local characteristics, employing local rural skills and rural methods of construction, using locally sourced sustainable materials of the highest quality with a view to achieve net zero.

Responding sensitively to its exceptional setting, the design reinterprets the traditional Cornish farmstead through a contemporary lens, drawing on local materials, craftsmanship and sustainable construction methods to create a home that is both rooted in heritage and designed for modern living.

The project is now available to let through Unique Homestays.
