An elegant new apartment building in the St James Conservation Area at the heart of Exeter.

Our design for Veitch House infills an historic gap between two Grade II listed terrace buildings, bringing contemporary housing to an underused city centre location. The proposals respond sensitively to the site’s important setting with an elegant design that incorporates a series of sustainable measures. The building features a distinctive exoskeleton frame form integrating a vertical brise soleil providing both shading and privacy, as well as a roof mounted photovoltaic array. The development is car free and all homes will have an environmental impact (CO2) ‘A’ rating.
